1. Before applying lip gloss or lipstick, make sure your lips are in good condition. This means regular use of a balm or Vaseline, and carefully but frequently remove with a cotton swab any dead or dry skin. Gloss tends to come off really easily so always store a tube in your bag to reapply. Get the right make up storage solution so you have this and everything else you need handy, whether it is for a large collection at home, or a small carry bag for trips out.
2. If your nails are beginning to look a little tired, try regular application of a hydrating lotion. You may have a series of ridges in your nails. If so, gently buff them with an emery stick along the line of the ridges before applying your polish.

6. To avoid having to use an eyelash curler, try a make of mascara that has a curling formula within it. When applying, it is best to use to thin coats and let the first one dry to reduce the risk of clumping.
7. To make sure you nail polish looks as good as possible and last for as long as possible, clean you nails before application and then use a clear base coat. Brush the actual polish on thinly and allow it to dry fully before applying another protective coat of the base layer.
